The Napaktulik Lake project is located approximately 220 km southeast of Kugluktuk and approximately 400 km north of Yellowknife.

Size:
The Napaktulik Lake project consists of 13,368 ha of Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) parcel (CO-40) of Inuit owned Lands (IOL).

Ownership:
100% North Arrow.

Highlights:

Summary:
The Napaktulik Lake project is located along the western margin of the Archean Slave Structural Province, immediately southeast of Napaktulik (Takijuk) Lake. The land parcel covers the western Amooga Booga Volcanic Belt, which is an east-northeast-trending, felsic-dominated supracrustal succession that occurs between the Point Lake Volcanic Belt (PLVB) to the south, and the Napaktulik Lake Volcanic Belt to the north.

The project surrounds the Hood mining leases. The following reserves for the Hood Mining Leases were listed by The Department of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, Government of the Northwest Territories in a 1995 compilation report:
Hood-10 Deposit: 1.8 Mt grading 3.4% Cu, 4.5% Zn, 0.3% Pb, 27 g/t Ag, and 0.5 g/t Au
Hood-41 Zone: 992,000 t grading 1.4% Cu, 3.2% Zn, and 10.9 g/t Ag Hood-41A Zone: 1.2 Mt grading 2.4% Cu, 3.3% Zn, and 14.6 g/t Ag.

Approximately 6 km to the northeast of the Hood No. 10 deposit, airborne geophysical surveys have defined a prominent coincident magnetic/electromagnetic anomaly within an area of glacial till blanket and outwash cover. The anomaly is 2,000 m long and 200 m wide. While there is a lack of outcrop in the overburden covered area, government mapping suggests that the area is underlain by favourable volcanic rocks. This anomaly represents a highly prospective base metal target.
