The Silvertip project is located approximately 110 km east of the Diavik Diamond mine and 400 km northeast of Yellowknife.

Size:
A total of 11,400 ha consisting of 7 mineral claims totaling 7,316 ha and a portion of Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) parcel CO-03 of Inuit Owned Lands (IOL) with an area of 4,084 ha.

Ownership:
Option to earn 60% interest from Strongbow Exploration Inc. by funding an aggregate of $5 million on or before December 31, 2011.

Highlights:
  • The Pale showing was drilled by Cominco Ltd. in the 1970's.
  • Twelve of 13 drill holes intersected significant polymetallic mineralization over a strike length of approximately 300 m. and to a depth of 200 m.
  • Assay highlights include 7.5 m of 449 g/ton Ag, 3.2 g/ton Au, 1.52% Zn, 0.82% Pb and 12.90 m of 943 g/ton Ag, 2.2 g/ton Au, 2.17% Zn, 0.87% Pb.
Summary:
Mineralization consists of quartz veining and locally significant sulphide mineralization in variably silicified and carbonate altered felsic volcanic rocks. Surface mapping by Strongbow in 2006 confirmed the tenor of the reported mineralization at the Pale showing with eleven of nineteen samples returning high grade precious and base metal values ranging from 1.98 to 15.7 g/t Au, 380 to 6,162 g/t Ag, 0.55 to 5.5% Pb and 1.18 to 18% Zn. Approximately 2.5 km to the southwest of the Pale showing similar mineralization was documented at the Minou showings. In 2006 seven of twelve samples returned from 1.86 g/t to 14.6 g/t Au and 8.8 g/t to 71.8 g/t Ag as well as anomalous values of lead and zinc.

During the summer and early fall of 2007, geophysical surveys were carried out over the Pale showing and a regional prospecting and sampling program was completed. Induced polarization data collected over the Pale exhibited a moderate chargeability response with the depth of the target increasing in a north-westerly direction to the point that known mineralization occurs below the depth of investigation of the survey (75 metres). This supports the interpretation that the mineralized zone plunges to the northwest and that further drilling is warranted. North Arrow is planning a drill program to further test the Pale showing in early 2008, when equipment availability and logistics are the most cost effective.
