Mr. Armstrong brings to his position, over 27 years of experience in the exploration industry. Through this period he has been involved in diamond, lithium, gold and nickel exploration throughout North America. He spent a decade (from 2005-2015) as President and CEO of Strongbow Exploration (now Cornish Metals) where he remains a director. Prior to that time he worked as a geologist for a number of companies including Rio Tinto, Aber Resources, Navigator Exploration and is past President of the Northwest Territories & Nunavut Chamber of Mines. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (1992) and Queen's University (1995) and is a registered Professional Geoscientist in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Province of Ontario.
North Arrow’s exploration programs are conducted under the direction of Mr. Armstrong, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Mr. Armstrong has reviewed all information posted on this website that is of a scientific or technical nature and relates to North Arrow’s exploration projects.

Ms. Thomas brings more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, including 14 years with Aber Diamond Corporation where she served in ever increasing roles from initial discovery of the Diavik deposit as a geologist to Vice President Exploration and ultimately a Director of the Board. She was co-founder of Stornoway Diamond Corp., serving first as CEO and then as Executive Chairman. There she led the acquisition of the Renard diamond deposit, which subsequently became Quebec's first diamond mine. In 2007, she founded Lucara with partners Mr. Lukas Lundin and Ms. Catherine McLeod Seltzer and served as CEO between 2018 and 2023. Eira also served as CEO of Kaminak Gold Corporation, which was acquired by Goldcorp in 2016 for $520 Million and served as a Director of Suncor Energy for 17 years.

Mr. Murdoch has over 30 years experience in senior management in both private and public companies, with expertise encompassing sales, marketing and finance. Mr. Murdoch was a founding partner of Arc'teryx, former Governor of Collingwood School and he holds a B.Sc. (Mathematics) from the University of British Columbia
Torrie Chartier

Torrie Chartier

Ms. Chartier has over 20 years of experience as a diamond exploration geologist. In the 1980-90’s, Torrie worked as an independent consultant and diamond geologist in exploration projects for various junior companies and was directly involved in the discovery of kimberlites in Michigan, NWT, Nunavut, and Greenland. Torrie presently serves as CFO and a Director of Uravan Minerals Inc, a Calgary-based junior uranium explorer. In March 2022, Elbow River Helicopters, the company she formed with her spouse, Bruce Holloway, was sold to Blackcomb Helicopters. She assisted with the transition of the company and personnel but has since retired.
