North Arrow Minerals Inc. is a northern focused exploration company with a diversified portfolio of gold, silver, base metal, and diamond properties, a number of which contain drill ready targets. North Arrow's exploration activities are conducted under the direction of a management team that has extensive and successful experience in northern Canada.
North Arrow's current focus is the 28,000 acre Silvertip property, located in the Back River area of Nunavut. North Arrow can earn up to a 60% interest in the property under an option agreement with Strongbow Exploration Inc. In the 1970's Cominco Ltd., carried out limited diamond drilling on the Pale showing, producing significant results. Drill intercepts include 60.10 m of 1.17 oz/ton Ag, 0.095 oz/ton Au, 1.04% Pb and 3.05% Zn and 12.90 m of 27.50 oz/ton Ag, 0.064 oz/ton Au, .87% Pb and 2.17% Zn. Mapping and sampling carried out in 2006 by Strongbow, indicated excellent potential for expanding upon this known mineralization.
Geophysical surveys carried out in 2007 support the interpretation that the mineralized zone plunges to the northwest and that further drilling is warranted. |
